Simetria boasts a team of professionals who specialise in the development of R&D&I projects. Innovation Management is developed from Globalcyclus by coordinating the different experts of each business to offer energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable solutions. Our R&D activities chiefly focus on improving process efficiency, waste management and the development of new materials.

The aim of this project is to transfer the impressive mechanical properties and thermal and electrical conductivity of graphene to bitumen and cement, by developing new bituminous mixtures that increase the durability of road surfaces, minimise environmental impact and promote the use of electric vehicles.
The aim of this project is the production of efficient, high-performance mixtures that replace natural mastic with waste materials, in order to give them new properties such as sound absorption.
This project consists of the development of an online platform that enables the individual planning of paving and surfacing works, using BIM to update the digital information for the planning process. The platform also makes the process of producing bituminous surfaces more efficient, through the capture and predictive analysis of data related to production parameters.
An online platform designed to enable the comprehensive management of municipal garden maintenance services. The platform allows users to manage the inventory and incidents and plan the work schedules, while the real-time management of reports allows for a more efficient management of resources. The tool also enables the remote management of the irrigation of municipal gardens.
